What to Expect at a Quest Forward Academy Open House
An Open House is one of the best ways to experience the unique attributes of Quest Forward Academy. You and your family can hear about the admissions process, learn about the project-based learning curriculum, attend hands-on mini-classes, and tour the campus. But most importantly, you will have the chance to meet our family of staff, students, and parents.
Discover How We’re Forward Thinking
During the opening session, you will hear a brief overview of the admissions process and learn why a “forward-thinking” high school like this exists.
We are an academy dedicated to the success of each individual student. You will learn how students gain skills they can apply to the real world, no matter what path they choose after graduation. You can also see for yourself the importance of having a team of educators with years of experience and the impact it makes on a student’s educational career.
Experience Our Curriculum in Action
We then focus our attention on hands-on, project-based learning. Mentors will lead mini-classes for you and your student to attend. In one of our mini-classes, students experiment with liquid nitrogen and safely explore its effects on various materials. We hope you will discover how an empowering, hands-on, engaging approach to learning can make all the difference.
The project-based learning approach creates the skills needed to think critically while working independently and collaboratively. You will experience how students learn to assess outcomes and develop problem-solving skills, which will help them be prepared for success in college and future careers. With Quest Forward Academy, you are ready to take flight.
Get to Know Our Staff
Come learn about the people responsible for making your child’s high school experience fulfilling. Hear from our Director, Career and College Counselor, and Internship Coordinator. Our mentors from science, English, social science, and math will discuss courses and electives they each offer.
Hear from Students About What Student Life Is Really Like
At Quest Forward Academy, students engage in extracurriculars such as debate club, chess club, fitness club, drama, improv, and more. During an Open House, our student ambassadors will discuss the groups they are involved in, how to join, and how to begin new extracurricular activities on campus. We foster an environment where students become well-rounded individuals and are encouraged to explore things they enjoy.
All of Your Tuition Questions Answered
