About

I started out in San Francisco but spent most of my youth in the East Bay. My college education took me to UC Berkeley where I met my husband during a student pizza party. We have three children who are now in various stages of their post-high school experience. My interest in education stems from a strong curiosity and love of exploration.

Before Quest Forward Academy

I taught high school science for the Waldorf School of San Diego and graduated 9 classes. Prior to this, I spent twenty years as an adjunct science faculty at the Community College and co-owner of Safe Solutions Group, an environmental consulting firm.

Why I chose to work here / What I’m most looking forward to

My family has held the vision that we would someday return to Northern California. Quest Forward Academy offers an exciting platform that is student-focused. I look forward to meeting students who are engaged learners and will no doubt have things to teach me.
