I grew up in Sonoma County and am now raising my twins here. I have been passionate about history and the social sciences my whole life. I love helping students understand how we got to the moment we are in right now, as a country and a world.

Before Quest Forward Academy

I have taught United States History at Santa Rosa Junior College since 2006 where I learned about Quest Forward Academy from some of the students in my classes. I have taught high school government, economics, United States History, AP US History, World History, Geography, Mock Trial, Health Science, and Leadership courses since 2005.

Why I chose to work here / What I’m most looking forward to

I enjoy teaching in smaller schools that feel more like a family than a school. I am excited to work with students in a new way where the focus is on letting the student explore what they are learning.
