Visual Storytelling

Students will learn how to create one-minute video stories, developing an idea through scripting, storyboard, filming, production, and post-production. In doing so, students will improve their understanding of narrative and stories, develop familiarity with standard tools for creating video, and learn about setting, lighting, cinematography, and editing.

Character, Composure, & Confidence

Students will examine their sense of self and embrace their unique motivations and drivers. Then, students will learn ways to express themselves and tackle communications challenges, like how to negotiate, ask good questions, disagree agreeably, compliment, and approach people with confidence. Students will get out of their comfort zone and emerge with refreshed confidence.

In the afternoons, students will grow basic coding skills and program simple electronics.
