About

I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and currently reside just outside of Bennington. As a writer, I know the weight that words carry. I became a teacher to help students become thoughtful readers, intentional writers, and informed thinkers.

Roles at Quest Forward Academy

I have three roles at the Academy, the first being Assistant Director. I am the Activities Director for the school, I handle minor discipline issues, administrative duties and tasks, as well as lead the school accreditation team.

I am also the Mentor Coach. In this role, I provide support to mentors and lead different professional development sessions throughout the year. I make sure we are Quest Forward Learning aligned and promote best practices.

I also am an English Mentor. I mentor the AP College Literature course at the Academy.
